I’ve been playing Fridayy’s “Haiku” heavy. He dropped the single to tease his new album Tension. The pre release worked perfectly because “Haiku” was actually my first introduction to Fridayy.
Now that I’ve tapped into the full album, it’s hitting even harder. Definitely a new listener and I’m here to stay.

“enjoy the view” is how I found her, but digging into the album made me realize there are a lot of gems on here. “who’s who” and “infront of me” are a couple others that really stood out to me.
I’ve been listening to Chxrry nonstop lately. “U, Me & My Ego” reeled me in, and the rest was history.
The 10-track project has so many fire records, but my favorites right now are “U, Me & My Ego,”, “Hall of Fame”, “Bible,” and “Badness” ft. Cash Cobain. I suggest starting with those.
I’ve known Cash for a while too, so shoutout to him for hopping on a record with Chxrry early. Love seeing that connection, especially on one of my favorites from the project.

Capella Grey is on straight replay with his new album titled just that. The 20-song album is fire and easily one of my favorites.
There are a lot of big-name features throughout the album too, with artists like Fabolous, Fetty Wap, Max B, DreamDoll and Lady London showing up across the project. But what really got me is how many different vibes Capella gives us from beginning to end.
Top songs so far are “Mine Already,” “161,” “Sojo Spa” ft. Fetty Wap, “Sex So Good” ft. Vontee the Singer & wolfacejoeyy, “2Wavyy” ft. Max B, “Talk About It,” and “Gun Hill.”
Definitely one of those albums where picking just a couple favorites is hard. Capella did his thing on this one.

Eem Triplin’s EP a love song for u is a tight, five-track project that shows off his signature blend of melodic flows and hard-hitting production. Every track is carefully crafted, with beats that hit.

“Stay Here 4 Life” with Brent Faiyaz is what I’ve been vibing to specifically, but the whole album pulls in all kinds of sounds, from jazz moments to straight rap flexes. Check it out below. I linked my favorite, but you can find the rest from there.
I know I’m a little late to this one, but I finally dove into Coco Jones’ debut album Why Not More? The project dropped in April 2025, and shows just how far she’s come as an artist.
